JP is a Brazilian filmmaker that mixes creativity, knowledge and hard work to create and direct audiovisual content that tells good stories and engages its target audience. He learned from the best during six years living, studying and working in Los Angeles. During his time in L.A he finished his film production master degree at USC, ranked #1 film school in the world. Amongst his narrative made in US are two award-winning shorts: “The Yearbook”, romantic comedy for kids laureated at Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival; and the western “Off Track”, elected project of the month by Indiewire.
Back in Brazil, JP not only wrote and directed documentaries but also demonstrated his wide spectrum with his work for brands. As a producer, he has worked on jobs for international household names including Visa, Claro and Budweiser. Equally important, as a director JP gained recognition with his work for Gillette and Saab. He worked with Saab and Embraer to create and direct “True Collaboration”, a ten episodes webseries about the Brazilian engineers behind the Gripen NG, our country first supersonic jet fighter.
